Heathrow Airport

Located 19 miles from Central London, Heathrow Airport is Europe’s busiest airport by passenger traffic – and the sixth busiest airport in the world. In 2016, it handled a record 75.7 million passengers. Built in 1930 to 1939, Heathrow features two parallel runways (soon to be increased to three) plus four terminals on a site covering over 12 square kilometres. It serves over 1,400 flights daily destined for 185 airports in 84 countries. The most popular include Dubai, New York, Frankfurt, Dublin and Hong Kong.

Heathrow Airport Terminal 2

Located centrally within Heathrow Airport, Terminal 2 lies under the TW6 1EW postcode. Self-service and online check-ins are available with most airlines to save on time; some airlines have also started supporting mobile-friendly check-in options for customers. Various business hotels offer accommodation options nearby – including Hilton Heathrow, Ibis and Sofitel. You can also browse numerous shops while you wait (such as Hugo Boss, Boots, Caffé Nero and much more). Terminal 2 also provides Wi-Fi internet access.

Terminal 3

Centrally located (alongside Terminal 2) in Heathrow Airport, Terminal 3 lies under the TW6 1QG postcode. Self-service check-in is available for some airlines (Virgin Atlantic has a dedicated check-in area, 'Zone A', featuring a large sculpture and atrium). Several hotels nearby include the Holiday Inn, Mystery 4-Star Hotel and Sheraton. Within the terminal, shops like Chanel, Costa, Gucci, Harrods and more tempt passengers and there’s also internet access available. Terminal 3 will be demolished by 2019.

Terminal 4

Situated on Heathrow’s southern perimeter (connected to Terminals 1, 2 and 3 via the Heathrow Cargo Tunnel) under the TW6 3XA postcode, Terminal 4 offers passengers time-saving services like self-service and online check-in. Nearby hotels include Hilton Garden Inn, Stanwell, and Renaissance London Heathrow Hotel. Inter-terminal shops like Dixons Travel, Dining Street Restaurant, Café Rouge, Bvlgari and more provide plentiful retail therapy. There’s also internet access here.

Terminal 5

Found at the western end of Heathrow Airport under the TW6 2GA postcode, Terminal 5 lies nearby hotels such as Hilton Heathrow, Premier Inn Heathrow and Sheraton Heathrow. Browse numerous retail outlets – including Gucci, M&S Simply Food, and Kurt Geiger among others – or surf the web via the complimentary internet access provided. Terminal 5 was voted Skytrax World's Best Airport Terminal 2014 in the Annual World Airport Awards. It exclusively hosts British Airways and Iberia
